DIDACTIC UNIT 12.. 5TH COURSE THE EU, TRAVELLING THE EU AND THE EU WEATHER FORECAST

 Do you remember the EU countries and their capital cities?

Do you remember the different landmarks we saw in DU 10?

Now we´re going to work upon these contents and the weather forecast together.

You´ll have to correct the mistakes in the following statements in your notebooks.

Read and think before you do anything.

The only piece of information CORRECT is the name of the different CAPITAL CITIES

1.    PARIS, the capital city of Germany, number 6 on your maps,  is going to have a foggy and cold day. If you go there you can see the Atomium.

2.    If you want to see Alcala Gate you have to go to AMSTERDAM, the capital city of Nicosia, number 24 on your maps. Today it´s going to be windy and warm there.

3.    DUBLIN, the capital city of Sweden, number 16 on your maps, will have a stormy and hot day. There you can see the Parthenon.

4.    If you want to see the Mermaid you have to travel to STOCKHOLM, the capital city of Ireland and number 11 on your maps. Today they will have a rainy and cool day there.

5.    The weather in BERLIN, the capital city of Luxemburg and number 4 on your maps, is going to be sunny and warm. There you can see the Colosseum

6.    The capital city of Hungary, number 18 on your maps, MADRID, is going to have a rainy and warm day today. There you can see Bélem Tower.

7.    If you want to see the Vasa Museum you have to travel to TALLIN, the capital city of Lithuania, number 1 on your maps. The weather there today is going to be windy and hot.

8.    RIGA, the capital city of the Czeck Republic, number 12 on your maps, will have a foggy and warm day. There you can see the Grand Ducal Palace.

9.    If you want to see Dam Square you´ll have to go to VALLETTA, the capital city of Slovenia, number 13 on your maps. They will have a cold and rainy day there today.

10. Brandenburg Gate is the most representative landmark in COPENHAGEN, the capital city of Croatia, number 27 on your maps. The weather there today will be hot and cloudy.

11. The weather in BUCHAREST, the capital city of Austria, number 22 on your mpas, is going to be cloudy and cool today. There you can see the Eiffel Tower.

12.ZAGREB, the capital city of Finland, number 26 on your maps will have a sunny and hot day today. There you can see the GPO.
