HISTORY OF BRITAIN. THE ROMANS. AESOP´S FABLES.

It´s not clear either where and when Aesop was born.  Some historians say he was born around 620 BC in

Ethiopia, Athens or Samos.

His most famous works “Aesop's Fables” , portray animals and are still taught as moral lessons

especially for children.

Other historians say he was a slave for most of his life.

The historian Herodotus wrote that Aesop was killed by the inhabitants of Delphi around 560 BC

One of Aesop´s most famous fables is ANDROCLES AND THE LION
